Jimmy Jones

Come for a cocktail, stay for a delicious dinner. It's a fun and inviting venue that is vibey in the day or night. Often they have live music outside on the weekend. They have outdoor seating, ideal for those traveling with dogs.

Yellow Billy

Thommo is often seen wearing their merch, so you know it's going to be good.
We love their emphasis on locally grown produce, some of which is grown on site in their very own produce garden tended by the team at Yellow Billy. 
Opening Hours: Thursday to Sunday for lunch 11:30am - 4pm. Fri and Sat they serve dinner 6pm - 10pm.

Bistro Molines

Stunning views are paired with classic French provincial dishes that will have thinking you're in somewhere in France. If you're seated outside, they are dog-friendly. Ideal for a lunch date.

Pescara

If you love modern Italian cuisine, then look no further. You can start things off with a cocktail and some olives before progressing to the season menu and a glass or bottle from their selection of local and international wines. We love it for small groups and late nights.
Opening Hours: Open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 5:30pm, Saturday and Sunday 12-3pm and from 5:30pm. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.

EXP. Restaurant

An intimate venue perfect for enjoying a decadent degustation. Frank Fawkner and his team offer an experiential meal that focuses on flavour and premium produce and wines from the Hunter region and around Australia. It's an ideal spot for a date night. 
Opening Hours: Open Friday to Monday 5:30-9pm or book a lunch between 12:30-3pm on Saturday. Closed Tuesday - Wednesday.

Muse Restaurant 

A Hunter Valley restaurant guide is not complete without Troy and his team who produce delicious modern Australian dishes with local and seasonal focus. Tuesday to Friday you can book a five course set menu while Saturday has a seven course menu. If you are looking for a truly memorable experience for an anniversary or birthday, this is the place to be.

Blaxland Inn

Think steaks and smoked meat, local wines and craft beers. If you are looking for a more upmarket casual night out, this is the place to go. We love it for pairing a Thomas Wine shiraz with a big juicy steak. Don't forget to make use of their local courtesy bus that collects guests in a 10 minute radius of their venue in Pokolin.

Nineteen

Perfect for any night of the week, this casual bar and dining venue has a relaxed atmosphere and modern venue. Wine, beer and cocktails are available and their menu is diverse enough to appeal to everyone. We love it for spontaneous meals as they do take walk-ins or book ahead if you're with a larger group. Located conveniently inside the Vintage - perfect if you're a Thomas Wines club member making use of your 10% discount off their accommodation.
Opening Hours: Breakfast 7.30am-11::30am, Lunch 11:30-3pm and Dinner 5:30-8:30pm.

Legends Grill at the Vintage

Another great option within the Vintage, they have casual dining at the bar or a more premium dining experience featuring Modern Australian cuisine is available via their restaurant. Ideal for the golfers out there, you can dine on the sun soaked deck that overlooks the golf course, designed by Greg Norman.

Elements

Located within the grounds of the Mercure Hotel at the Hunter Valley Gardens, this is truly in the heart of central Pokolbin. Their signature dish is duck confit which we recommend enjoying with the Thomas Wines DJV Shiraz Pinot.

The Royal Federal Hotel

If you are looking for a classic country pub experience with a modern twist then call off the search. Their award-winning bistro serves generous and delicious pub meals that have a focus on smoked meats. They source their steaks locally and prepare all the dishes with fresh local ingredients. Texas BBQ, smoked meats and woodfired pizza round out their menu while the drinks include wines from local Hunter Valley wineries and a huge range of beers available on tap. Its the ideal location for families and groups.

Margan Restaurant

The menu is highly seasonal, based on the harvest of their on-site sustainably farmed one hectare kitchen garden and orchard. Combine seasonal produce, a stunning location in Broke and the fact that It's a hatted restaurant, you just know you are in for a fantastic dining experience. Located on site at Bimbagen, the restaurant is modern Australian dining located in Pokolbin. They have placed an emphasis on simplicity and ensure their dishes compliment their extensive wine list of Australian and local Hunter Valley wines.
